Attract Network Marketing Prospects with a Perfect Social Media Profile

Network marketing has often been misunderstood. Many believe you can just showcase your product, and the sales will come flooding in… but that is NOT the case!! Building your network takes time and patience. Especially in today’s world with the addition of social media.
Some think it’s as easy as using their bios to attach their company links and association when in reality, this can repel potential prospects.
Here are tips on how to create a perfect profile in social media to attract rather than repel.
Transformation from Business to Brand Concentration
There was a point in time when I, myself, has use this approach, but that didn’t last long. I noticed that friends and acquaintances show a lot of “likes and hearts” to most of my posts, but when I mentioned business, crickets!
I thought to myself that this is bad. I learned from various coaches and mentors to shift my focus from company to branding, where I connect with the right people via my profile through the content that I shared. Once I consistently followed this process, I noticed a great deal of change in my interaction- started getting leads and buyers, and that started the transformation of my profile into a digital business.
The Power of a Personal Brand
Social Media profiles are a very powerful and FREE tool that can be used to attract customers and team members if used correctly.
The first step is to find your brand. Remember that your brand is not your company- the brand is YOU!
Check out what inspires you and what you’re passionate about. Remember to match it or tie it into your niche (your focus and market). The goal here is to pique curiosity, encouraging people to ask about what you do without giving up the “beef” up front.
First Impressions Matter
Pay attention to your profile picture. First impression is crucial and as the saying goes, “first impression lasts”.
Your profile picture should be clear, smiling, and a close-up of your face. A good selfie is more than enough so professional photography is not necessary unless you opt in for it. As much as possible, refrain from using pictures of your products or company.
Inspire with a Cover Photo and Bio
As you start re-branding, update your cover photo. A motivational or inspirational quote, as well as family pictures, make a great cover photo. Again, avoid company logos. Also, take note to clean up your bio or intro. Think about what you say that will cover yourself, what you do, who you are, and what you represent.
A simple example is “Helping other entrepreneurs build genuine connections via attraction marketing.”
Detox Your Profile
Finally, clean up your timeline.
Eliminate all posts that advertise your company's products and names, such as the results, promotional posts, etc. Instead, focus on something that will not make your audience feel that they are being sold to.
Transforming your profile into a digital business and ditching the company’s presence can skyrocket your business.
